The Sahara Hotel and Casino opened its doors in 1952 and quickly became one of Las Vegas' most exciting destinations. Featuring the era's most celebrated performers, including Ann-Margret, Johnny Carson and Tina Turner. The Sahara set the standard in Las Vegas' growing entertainment scene.
The spacious rooms include comfortable accommodations and a variety of television-viewing options. Luxurious suites are available in mini, one, and two bedroom models. Accommodations for physically challenged guests are also available.
The Sahara Hotel and Casino does charge a $3.00 per night, per room energy surcharge which is collected at the time of check in.

ROOM TYPES
Sahara Hotel & Casino: Standard rooms are located in our Tunis Tower. Each room is equipped with central heating and cooling. You can choose between a king size bed or two double beds, depending on availability. There are ice machines located on each floor. A limited number of non-smoking rooms are available for both Alexandria and Tunis Towers.
Sahara Hotel & Casino: Deluxe rooms are located in the Tangiers Towers and total 1,108 rooms. Each room is equipped with an individually controlled heating and cooling system. You can choose between a king size bed or two double beds, depending on availability. Also included in the bathroom is a hair dryer. We also have a large percentage of non-smoking rooms available. Additionally, there are ice and soda machines located on each floor.

Sahara Hotel & Casino: In the heart of our property, we have a sparkling 5,000 square foot pool featuring 13 private cabanas, circular fountains, a gazebo-covered spa and a snack bar that offers tropical refreshments. Pool hours are adjusted on a seasonal basis.

Sahara Hotel & Casino: Destination Salon is a full service salon and spa that specializes in pampering the guests of the Sahara Hotel and Casino. They provide a variety of salon and spa services and professional retail products.
RESTAURANTS
Sahara Buffet - Weekday brunch is served from 7:00am until 3:00pm Monday-Friday. Dinner is served from 4:00pm until 10:00pm Monday-Friday. The Sahara Champagne Brunch is served from 8:00am until 3:00pm on Saturday and Sunday, however the menu varies on these 2 days.
NASCAR Cafe - The NASCAR Cafe offers a unique entertainment and dining experience located on two levels. This 400-seat NASCAR Cafe features exciting stock car racing entertainment. The cafe includes giant projection television screens equipped with surround sound featuring NASCAR racing, the latest NASCAR news and authentic NASCAR merchandise. The Cafe displays nearly 20 authentic NASCAR stock cars and is founded on two levels.The Cafe features the Carzilla Bar, the world's largest stock car, a Pontiac Grand Prix that weighs more than three tons. It measures 34 feet long and 12 feet wide and is mounted on a platform. Carzilla was designed by Bob Campbell, who designed for Dale Earnhardt.
House of Lords - The tradition of legendary dining is at the Sahara Hotel and Casino's House of Lords steakhouse. In an elegant setting, the House of Lords steak house offers tantalizing menu selections as well as a high standard of service all within an intimate dining atmosphere. Beautiful waterfalls and plush seating highlight the cozy ambiance of the House of Lords steakhouse, located adjacent to the Sahara's casino.
The menu features traditional cuisine with a creative twist. In creating the menu, the Sahara chefs chose to keep timeless favorites, such as the tender New York Strip Steak and succulent Australian lobster tail. Other selections include: the signature rib-eye served on the bone; double lamb chops served with rosemary mint glaze; medallion of veal prepared Picatta, Franchaise or Marsala; and roast prime rib of beef au jus (22 oz., 12 oz and Cajun style 12 oz.); as well as chicken and a variety of seafood entrées. Each entrée includes a choice of soup du jour or salad, and a baked potato or fresh garlic mashed potatoes.
